If you have a plant that is struggling, looks strange, or may have insects or disease… please reach out to your local agriculture extension office. They’re staffed with horticulturists and volunteers who are trained to help you diagnose what’s going on, and they’re familiar with your area. (This service is usually free or a very low fee.) Here are links to the extension offices for: Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. Select your county for local help!
